What to bring

On the day of admission please bring:

  • Any letter(s) from your doctor relating to your procedure
  • Details of Health Insurance Membership
  • Medicare Card
  • Pharmaceutical, Pension, Health Care or Veteran Affairs entitlement card
  • Current medication in the original labelled bottles/packets including any inhalers
  • Cash/ Credit Card to pay out of pocket expenses on admission (Excess or Co-payments)
  • Sufficient Cash for incidental expenses (no more than $50.00)
  • X-rays
  • Sleep wear, dressing gown and slippers (not applicable for Day Surgery procedures)
  • Personal toiletries
  • Glasses and physical aids (walking sticks, hearing aids etc)

What not to bring

  • Jewellery
  • Large sums of money
  • Other valuables

Valuables

Warners Bay Private Hospital accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any valuables retained in your care.  Please ask our staff to place any valuables that you do have on admission into the hospital safe.  Where possible we recommend that you leave valuables at home.
