Overview
We offer private and twin share accommodation. We endeavour to meet requests for private rooms, however, this may not be possible at times, due to the level of occupancy in the hospital and the acuity of other patients. All rooms are complete with telephone, located at each bedside and television. Local calls are free.
Mobile phones and devices are able to be used throughout the hospital unless signage or nursing staff advise otherwise. Unfortunately Warners Bay Private Hospital is unable to take responsibility for any loss or damage to your phone or devices during your stay.
Yours meals are prepared using fresh produce by a team of dedicated dietary staff.
Partners and family members may join you for meals, meal tickets can be purchased through reception. Lounge areas are also provided for the convenience and relaxation of visitors and family.
As a Department of Veterans’ Affairs Partnering Hospital, you have immediate access to our care, without the need for prior approval*. We also provide help and support through our Veteran Liaison Officer.
*Prior approval is required in some circumstances, eg. Cosmetic surgery, respite care, admissions to registered psychiatric beds.
We have secured agreements with most health insurance funds. We realise hospital and related charges can sometimes be difficult to understand, so please ask if you’d like help. We will provide you with an estimate of all hospital charges and outline the level of cover provided by your health fund and any out of pocket expenses you may incur.
